Serious limitations

Difficult to program. The app for the iPhone does not work re programming the hub. To get hub and remote to work all programming of buttons etc has to be done on my computer. Good luck trying to program hub to work with amazon video and Samsung tv. Netflix no problem but could never program activity for amazon

Latest version

Latest version is missing buttons on the iPad and too small on the iPhone 6S Plus. I have a big phone so everything will be bigger and easier to see. The buttons are smaller now. Please put it back the way it was.

Poorly functional and low grade app

For what is a beautifully designed remote with such a meaningful role in peoples living room, the mobile app appears to be nothing more than an after thought with obviously little investment. 1. Provide a native app that considers the use cases more thoughtfully. 2. Actually work - dont tell me via an error that I need to be on the same network to edit devices when there is only 1 network in my house. Consider better testing of your own app please. 3. Your smarthub integration into the app is poor and extremely limited. I bought a smartthings and i think you should consider getting out of that product line and instead focus your attention on making the remote & app awesome and the device support even better. For example - add Somfy blinds support correctly please. Right now I had to tuck it under a light switch.

Capable but very unstable

Initial setup of the Harmony Elite and Hub using this app was a breeze. Subsequent attempts to update activities were not: endless connection problems, timeouts, suggestions to reboot the router and/or the hub (even though it was visible based on the Harmony apps network scan). Very unstable. Please update.

Heed the warnings

I used to recommend these to customers every day when working at Best Buy, but after this last update Ill reconsider. I cant even connect to my existing hub after purchasing an iPhone 6. For a company like Harmony of all brands to release a update/app like this and be content with the complaints is beyond me. Unfortunately, people will buy the RF piece and then download the app and probably be outside of return policy. WAIT FOR THE NEXT UPDATE/PATCH BEFORE PURCHASING! UPDATE: 7 months later and this app is basically useless. I purchased a Harmony Ultimate and Harmony Hub for my living room and bedroom, both rarely work without resetting. Use a real universal solution such as Savant or Control4, not this garbage.

No joy

The app and hub used to work, but a recent update has made it a small useless boat anchor. The app can no longer connect to the hub over WiFi and falls back to a cloud connection that does not allow for editing or updating. PLEASE FIX THIS APP!

Wonderful Solution!

I have a Harmony Ultimate Home Touch with the Hub. Everything has worked great since day one. You need to take the time to learn how to program it. I have it controlling my FLIRC USB IR receiver attached to my HTPC (KODI), Apple TV, PS3, XBOX 360, Sony Receiver, and Sony TV. Everything is out of sight in my AV rack. Never have any kind of hiccups or communication problems through the walls. Sounds like most bad reviews are from people who dont want to take the time to learn how to setup their network or dont want to take the time to learn how to program it correctly. I like mine so much I will be adding the Z-Wave controller soon for more automation! Keep up the good work, Logitech! The possibilities are endless as to what you can do and control with this remote & App!

Terrible reliability. Please fix.

Im so disappointed in this app. I have plenty of smart home apps that dont freeze, disconnect, or not connect at all. Ive been using it for a year plus and it just seems to never work smoothly on the iPad. Updated software iPad 3 it just cant get it together. Please produce an good product Logitech.

Wonderful solution

Not easy to setup but definitely Not hard. After setup I can control all my devices with either remote or cellphone.

Where is the Apple Watch app

A bit cumbersome but ok. Where is the Apple Watch app? Would be perfect for Apple Watch.

Comes in handy but not super reliable

The app itself is okay. It is nice to be able to use my phone to turn off the tv from another room or turn down the volume when my kids have it cranked. Seems that it recently stopped connecting via wireless and always connects through the cloud, which is very laggy. I do have a wifi repeater which has caused issues with other devices. Wish the hub had an Ethernet connection for better reliability.

IPhone app lost connect latest update

Really loved IPhone remote app. Latest update to hub has crashed app. Even technical support is useless. Refers to advanced scan that is not available on app. So far the physical remote is still working. Please fix remote app access.

Very Amateur Look; Missing Key Features

When a first downloaded the app and launched it, I was taken back that it looked so amateurish. I even went back to check iTunes to see that I downloaded the official Harmony app. Why cant the developers create GUI buttons. The lack of graphics is so disappointing! Also, why no keyboard. My smart tv has a web browser. Yet app has no keyboard. It would be an easy add on. Finally, let us customize the look and feel of the remote. Great idea! Too bad the app is so poorly done.

App doesnt connect to hub....

I bought this simply for the added convenience of using my iPhone to control all of my devices. Which worked until the latest update. Now my phone wont connect to the hub at all. Times out after a while. So disappointing. Hopefully they will fix this ASAP!

Lot of issues

Latest version has started lots of issues. Long delays and constantly Reyes to connect they cloud instead of local network. Have to restart app constant to get it to use local network to connect.

Does what it needs to do

Works good for programming your remotes. However, Its been almost a year and theres still no watch support...either open up your technology to new developers or learn to keep up!

This ones better then the last..so far

LIFX Color do not match app. Im finally able to say Im happy with the app. I hated it as well as everyone else last year. I started using LIFX and SmartThings with it and everythings working seamless aside from the LIFX color not matching what I chose. Blue is a purple, Red is an orange. I posted on the forum about this with pictures showing the difference in the LIFX app and the Harmony app. Fix that and I have no other complaints. One addition I think needed is the ability to use home automation linked to harmony Hub able to be added as a button in the remote. As of now I can only use activities for home automation and that took a lot of working around.

Its getting better!

Its getting much better. They have finally fixed a bunch of bugs that have existed since the major redesign, over a year ago I am almost certain they read all these reviews because they fix almost every issue I post. Its really great, but it took them forever. I honestly have nothing to complain about in this version.

Takes for ever to connect

He latest update as slow down the connection to my Harmony Remote by an extra 10+ seconds. Once connected it works fast. Must be a bug with the signal on the backend with latest update.
